網球自我評估等級系統 

The following is the USTA Self Rating System. The tennis club will hold tournaments in which one's skill level will determine one's seeding. We also try to arrange matches with players of equal ability. Take the time to see where you stand!

下面是USTA自我評分等級系統. 網球俱樂部舉行巡迴賽,選手的技術水準將決定他的種子順序. 我們也安排比賽讓能力相當的選手在一起. 花一些時間看看你的定位吧!

Self-Rating Guidelines: 自我評分等級的指導方針:

 

The National Tennis Rating Program provides a simple, initial self-placement method of grouping individuals of similar ability levels for league play,tournament, group lessons, social competition and club or community programs.

國立網球評分等級計畫提供了一個簡單的,最初的自己定位的方法來

將能力相當的個體分群別類, 目的是為了聯盟比賽,巡迴比賽,團體課程、社交的競爭和俱樂部或社區計畫..等而提供的。

 

The rating categories are generalizations about skill levels. You may find that you actually play above or below the category which best describes your skill level, depending on your competitive ability. The category you choose is not meant to be permanent, but may be adjusted as your skills change or as your match play demonstrates the need for reclassification. Ultimately, your

rating is based upon your results in match play.

評分等級種類是關於技術水準的一般化。你可能發現你實際上打球的程度是在最佳描述你技術水準的種類之上或者之下,取決於你的競爭能力。你選擇的種類並不意謂會永遠不變,但可能是可以調整的, 當你的技術改變或當你的比賽顯示出有再分類的需要時。最後,你的評分等級是以你的比賽結果為基礎所得出來的。

 

To place yourself: 定位自己:

 

   A.  Begin with 1.0. Read all the categories carefully and then decide which one best describes your present ability level. If your abilities range between two catagories, then choose the lower one.

A。  由 1.0 開始。 仔細地讀一讀所有的分類, 然後決定哪些一個分類最佳描述你的現在能力水準。如果你的能力是排在二個分類之間,你就選擇較低的。

 

   B.  Be certain that you qualify on all points of all preceding categories as well as those in the classification you choose.

   B。  確定你在所有前面的分類的所有重點上都具備條件符合標準, 而且在你選擇的分類裡一樣符合標準。

 

   C.  When rating yourself assume you are playing against a player of the same sex and the same ability.

   D.  Your self-rating may be verified by a teaching professional, coach,league coordinator or other qualified expert.

   E.  The person in charge of your tennis program has the right to reclassify you based upon match results, if your self-placement is thought to be inappropriate

Rating Categories: 評分等級分類:

 

1.0    This player is just starting to play tennis.

1.0    這一位運動員剛剛開始打網球。

 

1.5    This player has limited playing experience and is still working primarily on getting the ball into play.                          

1.5   這一位運動員僅有有限的玩球經驗,主要仍然正在進行球的遊戲中。

 

2.0    This player needs on-court experience.  This player has obvious stroke weaknesses but is familiar with basic positions for singles and doubles play.

2.0    這一位運動員需要球場經驗。 這一位運動員明顯地打擊較弱,但是熟悉單打和雙打的基本位置。

 

2.5    This player is  learning to judge where the ball is going although court coverage is weak.  This player can sustain a slow rally with other players of same ability.

2.5    這一位運動員正在學習判斷球要去哪裡, 雖然球場的涵蓋能力是較弱的。  這一位運動員能維持慢慢的對打,與相同能力的其他運動員維持對打。

 

3.0    This player is consistent when hitting medium pace shots, but is not comfortable with all strokes and lacks control when trying for a directional intent, depth, or power.

3.0    當打半生熟速度節奏的擊球時,這一位運動員是可以保持一致性的,但是打起所有速度擊球時並不舒適, 嘗試定向意圖、夠深的或夠力的擊球時, 他控制的能力就較缺乏了。

 

3.5    This player has achieved improved stroke dependability and direction on moderate pace shots, but still lacks depth and variety.  This player exhibits more aggressive net play, has improved court coverage, and is developing teamwork in doubles.

3.5    這一位運動員已經達成改善打擊可信任度和方向, 適當速度節奏上擊球,但是仍然缺乏擊球深度和多樣性。  這位運動員展現更積極性的網球技術,已經改善對球場的涵蓋性,而且正在發揮雙打的團隊合作默契。

 

4.0    This player has dependable strokes, including directional intent, on both forehand and backhand sides on moderate shots, plus the ability to use lobs, overheads, approach shots and volleys with some success.  This player occasionally forces errors when serving and teamwork in doubles is evident.

4.0    這一位運動員有可信任的擊球,包括方向意圖,不管是正拍和反拍邊上適度擊球,加上挑高球, 越頭球, 近擊和截擊等能力都能成功達成。當發球時偶而會使力錯誤,這一位運動員雙打的合作能力是明顯的。

 

4.5    This player has begun to master the use of power and spins and is beginning to handle pace, has sound footwork, can control depth of shots, and is beginning to vary tactics according to opponents.This player can hit first serves with power and accuracy and place the second serve and is able to rush the net successfully.         

4.5這一個運動員已經開始精通使用力道和快速上旋球而且正開始處理速度節奏,有健全的腳步,能控制擊球深度,而且正開始依對手而改變戰術。這一位運動員能強力準確地擊出第一發球和安置第二發球,而且能夠成功地奔向網打球。       

5.0    This player has good shot anticipation and frequently has an outstanding shot or attribute around which a game may be structured. This player can regularly hit winners or force errors off of short balls, can put away volleys, can successfully execute lobs, drop shots, half volleys and overhead smashes, and has good depth and spin on most second serves.

5.0    這一位運動員有好的打擊預期而且經常有一突出的擊球,或者說一場比賽可能因此原因而被建構出來。這一位運動員對短球能經常地打出致勝球或者強迫失誤球,能放好截擊球,能成功地執行高挑球, 點擊, 半截擊球和越頭球扣殺,對第二發球有好的深度和快速上旋。

 

5.5    This player has developed power and/or consistency as a major weapon. This player can vary strategies and styles of play in a competitive situation and hits dependable shots in a stress situation.

5.5  這一位運動員已經發揮出力量及/或一致性當作主要武器。 這一位運動員能改變比賽的策略和風格, 表現在一場競爭處境而且在壓力下打出可信任的擊球。

 

6.0 ~ 7.0   These players will generally not need NRTP rankings.  Rankings or past rankings will speak for themselves.  The 6.0 player typically has had intensive training for national tournament competition at the junior level and collegiate levels and has obtained a sectional or national ranking.  The 6.5 player has a reasonable chance of succeeding at the 7.0 level and has extensive satellite tournament experience.  The 7.0 is a world class player who is committed to tournament competition on the international level and whose major source of income is tournament prize winnings.

6.0 ~ 7.0   這些運動員通常不需要 NRTP 排名。排名或過去排名將為他們證明。  6.0 運動員典型地已經有目標青少年和學院等級的國家比賽競爭的密集強力訓練, 而且已經獲得地方性或國家性的排名。  6.5 運動員有合理機會在 7.0 水準贏得成功而且有廣泛的衛星比賽經驗。  7.0 是一個世界等級運動員,他忠誠於在國際水準上的比賽競爭而且他主要收入來源是比賽勝利獎金。

 

       With this list you can rate yourself. Should you realize that your abilities range between two categories, then the lower one should be used to determine your playing level.

藉由這一本目錄,你能評估你自己的等級。如果你了解你的能力處在二個分類之間排列的情形,你應該使用較低的分類來決定你的網球技術水準。

Keep in mind that if you range between two values, the LOWER one should be used as your playing level.
